Gaillard Pottery was first created in the early 1970's in Dublin by Alan Gaillard Shattock and has recently re-opened at his new purpose built studio in Clifden, Connemara. Using all natural raw materials for his glazes Alan produces a range of stoneware pottery which includes table & ovenware, lamps, giftware and individual one-off pieces that are ideal for wedding presents or as gifts for special occasions. A new addition to Alan's work combines intricate beach-combed driftwood, uncannily moulded by the sea into life-like forms, with hand-built ceramic bases, which are totally unique.
